The Stanley Jaki Foundation
During the conference held in Rome on
13 April 2010,
the Stanley Jaki Foundation was set up.
The aim of this foundation is the promotion of Catholic culture
through the life and writings of Fr. Stanley Ladislas Jaki.
The president of the
Foundation is Fr. Paul Haffner,
who is Fr. Jaki’s first and principal
biographer with the work
Creation
and Scientific Creativity: A
Study in the Thought of S.L. Jaki.
Paul Haffner is a priest and professor
of theology at the
Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum
in Rome, visiting professor at
the
Pontifical Gregorian University,
and adjunct lecturer at the
Duquesne University Italian Campus.
He has been teaching
philosophy and theology for over
20 years in the Eternal City.
Author of over 30 books and
150 articles on philosophical and
theological themes, he is also a
regular contributor to the
Inside the Vatican
magazine.
The treasurer of the Foundation
is John Beaumont, a friend
and collaborator of Fr. Jaki.
John is a legal consultant and freelance
writer on Catholic issues. He has
written for leading Catholic journals
in both the United States and Great Britain.
The secretary of the Foundation
is Antonio Colombo, a friend
and collaborator of Fr. Jaki, who
translated some of his works into
Italian.

Rome, 13 April 2010
A one day International Conference has been held in Rome, on 13 April 2010,
to commemorate the first anniversary of the death of Father Jaki.
Here is the Agenda of the day.
One of the two Benedictine brothers of Father Jaki (Father Teodoz Jaki OSB) attended the Meeting. Were present at the Meeting people coming from Italy, Spain, France, Great Britain, the USA and Hungary.
The publication of the Acts of the Conference is in plan. An article about the Conference appeared on the June/July 2010 issue of the monthly Catholic News Magazine
